Applications now open for spring funding

Now accepting applications for spring graduate student funding!

We have 2 opportunities available: Graduate Student Awards and the Steve Meshnick Travel Award.

  • Graduate Student Awards support up to $7,500 in evolutionary medicine research, with additional funds available to support an undergraduate research assistant on the project. For this cycle, grad students at Duke, NC A&T, NCCU, and NC State are eligible to apply. More details: https://tricem.org/proposals/rfp/
  • The Steve Meshnick Travel Award is given to one student annually to support travel (or virtual attendance) to a conference or workshop, up to $1,500. Current graduate students at any TriCEM-affiliated institution (Duke, NC A&T, NCCU, NC State, and UNC-Chapel Hill) with research in infectious diseases and evolution are eligible to apply.
