Pathogenic and Commensal Organisms

TriCEM supports innovative research on microorganisms, including opportunists that cause disease and commensal organisms, such as the microbiome.  We are interested in the ecology and evolution of symbiotic relationships, the evolution of pathogen virulence, and the ways that modern lifestyles disrupt host-microorganism relationships.

We support evolutionary research on Pathogenic and Commensal Organisms through Seed Grants, Symposia, and Working Groups.
