TriCEM is an affiliate of the NC Museum of Natural Sciences (NCMNS), which provides us with an excellent opportunity to reach the public through lectures, presentations, and other events. To date, we have hosted speakers and booths as part of the NCMNS celebration of Darwin Day, we invited scientific author Jeremy Taylor to the Triangle to read from his book Body by Darwin, and TriCEM members have presented their work at the Science Cafes at the museum. We also partnered with the museum to hold the TriCEM Showcase, featuring research from across the Triangle related to evolutionary medicine.
